Shipwreck in the Ghost Forest, Plaquemines Parish

Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana

An abandoned boat rests among the dead cypress trunks of a flooded ghost forest in Plaquemines Parish, under a sky full of dramatic clouds. Ghost forests like this one are part of the changing landscape of coastal Louisiana, and this frame shows it without dressing it up. Printed on metal, the clouds and weathered wood pick up real depth and texture, and the wide format works well over a sofa or desk.
